We are looking for a Group Manager to provide overall direction, coordination, and leadership to the Cincinnati Commercial Division.  Reporting to the Division Manager, the Group Manager will manage full scope construction project activities, customer relations and satisfaction, staffing, personnel development, and continuous improvement activities. 


  • Directly oversee and manage all functions of the Cincinnati Commercial Group including, Estimating, Design, Project Management, and Administration
  • Support outside sales effort through the Cincinnati Commercial Group
  • In conjunction with outside sales, manage the development of project budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, cost estimates, and site safety
  • Recommend Long Range Plan (LRP) growth initiatives by evaluating viability of specific markets utilizing core competencies of the Commercial Division and determine strategy and execution for success in target market
  • Perform project site and customer visits as needed to direct and maintain a high degree of quality, delivery, and trust with stakeholders
  • Proactively engage in continuous improvement with key stakeholders; including on an internal basis by partnering with intracompany divisions such as: Institutional, Structures, Nexus, Operations and Finance to ensure efficiencies; and externally by listening to the customers' needs, addressing concerns, resolving issues, developing solutions, while building trust and respect.
  • Oversee the Project Management function for project activities including meeting scheduling demands, ensuring job site safety compliance, and quality of work through subcontractors
  • Support product and customer simplification efforts towards standardization and optimization of target markets and profitability goals to position the Commercial Division for strategic growth.
  • Identify workflow obstacles, risks and/or issues, and develop strategies to eliminate, avoid, or mitigate risk
  • Maintain industry professional and technical knowledge by reviewing publications, digitally or in print; building relationships and professional networks; benchmarking industry best practices; and participating in trade shows or professional societies as needed.
  • Align Group Team Goals and performance metrics to support achievement of divisional objectives; monitor performance and work with team members to optimize results


  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Construction Management, or Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in equivalent level role within a project based construction company
  • Experience managing teams highly desired
